Issues regarding the unloading process of finished automotive fuels
Thread Content
1. Could experienced experts please explain the process involved in unloading refined oil from vehicles?2. What are the differences between the two processes of unloading into a zero-level tank and pumping the oil directly into the storage tank without using such a tank? Can gasoline and diesel be unloaded directly into the storage tank without first being poured into an underground zero-level tank?
3. If it is possible to unload directly into the storage tank, what type of pump should be used (centrifugal pump?) Self-priming centrifugal pump? Rotor pump? Sliding vane pump? ). Is it appropriate to install the pump directly inside the canopy, under the loading platform? 4. If the liquid is not transferred to a zero-level tank but pumped directly into the storage tank, how should the pump be controlled, and how can it be determined that the tank truck has completed unloading? Is it because the pressure gauge at the pump inlet is reversed, causing vibration during pumping that leads to the pump being shut down? Is it appropriate to shut down the pump in this situation? 5. When transferring liquid into a zero-level tank using an above-ground pump, what type of pump should be selected for this purpose? The height difference between the buried zero-level tank and the surface pump is 4 meters; ordinary centrifugal pumps cannot be used for filling the tank. Are self-priming pumps or positive-displacement pumps suitable? Never mention submersible pumps – they break down as soon as there’s a problem, and they’re also extremely expensive. 6. Does the unloading process require modifications to the tank truck? What are the specifications and standards for the oil unloading hoses and connectors? 7. How can the unloading process be carried out in a sealed manner in accordance with the requirements of the finished product warehouse? During unloading, the tank truck is in contact with air, making it impossible to unload in a sealed way. Don’t tell me I need to build a nitrogen station
