Since last night, the vacuum level in the four towers gradually decreased from -97 kPa to -88 kPa over a period of 2.5 hours, after which it stabilized. All flange connections in the system were checked and found to be in good condition. Could this be related to some operational factors? Excessive upward airflow is causing the vacuum level to drop? Please ask an expert for help! ! ! !
Check the vacuum system – has the condensate temperature risen? Are there any abnormalities in the temperature, flow rate, and pressure of the process feed?
①Switch to the vacuum pumping system to check for issues with the pump or vacuum generation. ② Check for changes in the temperature at the top of the tower, as well as whether there is an increase in gas oil in the various vacuum tanks. ③ Check whether there is any blockage in the atmospheric exhaust system (mechanical pressure should be negative, steam extraction should result in negative pressures at levels 1 and 2, while level 3 should have positive pressure; slightly opening the exhaust valve can help in checking this). ④ On-site, examine the vacuum gauges at each stage to determine which one shows the greatest change in negative pressure, thereby identifying the cause of the problem. Changes in the ambient temperature can also affect the tower pressure; it may be due to inadequate insulation of the tower.
