Operation of sulfur melting furnace

This post was last edited by liaifeng on 2018-8-9 at 09:30. Our factory uses sulfur melting reactors in the fine chemicals industry in Shijiazhuang; they have been in operation for over a month now. The process involves degassing using tannin under atmospheric pressure, followed by variable degassing. The hydrogen sulfide level reaches up to 300 mg/m3, and the sulfur melting process is quite unstable – the amount of sulfur melted varies from time to time. However, the operation itself is stable, as are the process parameters. We seek guidance from experienced professionals. How to control the temperature of the clear liquid returning from the sulfur melting tank, and what should that temperature be?
