This year marks the thirteenth consecutive time that we have planned and organized a Safety Month event. The reason for continuing to carry out Safety Month activities is that safety management is in constant development. On the one hand, **laws and regulations are constantly being revised and updated each year; in other words**, the requirements regarding company safety are becoming increasingly extensive, the focus of attention is growing deeper, and the details that need to be addressed are more precise. This will compel us to continuously improve the safety skills of all employees as well as the overall level of safety management. On the other hand, as the company grows, its production systems will gradually adopt more advanced processes and equipment, which requires us to rapidly improve or transform our existing operational skills and on-site management capabilities, as well as to continuously enhance the current safety protocols and standards. The reason for continuing to carry out Safety Month activities is that safety is the bottom line that we, as a hazardous chemicals company, must uphold. The first safety principle introduced by the company is “nothing is more important than safety.” This principle is intended to strengthen and enhance the awareness among management personnel to prioritize safety, talk about safety, and take actions related to safety. It adopts “everything for the well-being of employees” as the fundamental safety principle and guiding principle for systematically improving the company’s safety management practices. As a key focus for safety management, the production system requires that we enhance everyone’s awareness of the safety boundaries during Safety Month, and that penalties for violations be imposed in accordance with the strictest standards. The reason for continuing to carry out Safety Month activities is that safety is an inherent quality that is integrated into all aspects of management. At DuPont, there is an unwritten rule: one is only eligible to become a management executive when they can consider safety, production, and quality as one unified aspect. In other words, the DuPont 22 factors that we are promoting now is a management method that can be applied to various management systems. Safe production is a systematic endeavor that involves all aspects of production, operations, and support functions. Each unit should, within the scope of its own responsibilities, thoroughly consider and control safety risks before carrying out any task. Safety means adhering to the principle of respecting life, taking proper procedures as a fundamental requirement, and following established safety standards – without lowering these standards when carrying out tasks or simplifying processes during on-site inspections. All units must fully understand the significance of Safety Month. By organizing and participating in various activities related to Safety Month in a thorough and effective manner, they can create a strong safety culture and encourage all employees to develop an awareness of safety boundaries as well as a mindset focused on safe development. Safety is the foundation of all work and the guarantee of all benefits. As long as everyone understands the safety concept that \"safety is my responsibility\" and practices safe work in reality, our future will surely be brighter.
Our company is also carrying out activities for Safety Production Month; safety is the foundation for a company’s survival
It is indeed difficult to consider safety, production, and quality as one single thing, as our division of tasks is too detailed these days; everyone has their own job responsibilities. Only the vice president can regard them as one issue – otherwise, one doesn’t have the authority to do so.
I’m lucky to have employees with such leaders
