Compared to aluminum finned heat exchangers, for the same heat transfer capacity, the air resistance of copper tube aluminum finned heat exchangers is much lower, right? The heat exchange power is 4 kW; water flows inside the copper tubes, with the temperature being reduced from 50 to 45. The inlet air temperature is 40 degrees. A sample of such a cooler is needed – a copper tube and aluminum fin heat exchanger combined with a fan. Is its volume smaller than that of an aluminum one? Could anyone recommend manufacturers of copper tube aluminum fin heat exchangers?
I just inquired with several manufacturers about air coolers with a heat exchange capacity of less than 2KW. Everyone recommended using copper tubes with aluminum fins; it is said that copper has a better heat transfer capacity than aluminum, which allows for a smaller size.
1. In terms of heat exchange efficiency, copper fins are definitely better than aluminum fins. 2. Economically speaking, aluminum fins are definitely cheaper ; 3. Both types of fins can be used; as for heat exchange, volume, and fin spacing, these are determined by the design. The optimal design method can be chosen :)
Thank you all for your answers; I also think that copper tube aluminum fin types are better than aluminum plate fin types. I know there are many manufacturers that produce aluminum plate-fin types, but are there any that produce copper tubes with aluminum fins? It would be best if they are located in the south. Copper tubes offer good heat exchange performance but at a high cost, while aluminum has slightly lower heat exchange efficiency but is less expensive. It is determined based on the site conditions, operating status, and design direction. I have a heat exchange equipment manufacturer in Liaoning; you can inquire directly with them (Guo: 13154205534, WeChat)
Copper tube aluminum fin manufacturers in the south, Guangdong Boyi Air Conditioning – feel free to inquire
Copper tube aluminum fin and aluminum plate fin heat exchangers have different characteristics; in terms of volume, the aluminum plate fin heat exchanger is likely to be smaller, but plate fin heat exchangers have high resistance. So, the specific application depends on the particular circumstances.
