Material of the oil scraping component in horizontal compressors

The oil-scraping rings used in our company are made of copper-based alloys, while the surface of the piston rods is coated with tungsten carbide. Copper-based oil-scraping rings wear out relatively quickly; once they wear, they stick to the surface of the piston rods, which accelerates their wear and leads to oil leakage. Sea friends, I’ve seen that copper-based alloys and bismuth-tin alloys are being used in China; are there any other materials used abroad? The surface hardness of our company’s piston rods is greater than HRC70. Can an aluminum-magnesium alloy be used?
These two are the most commonly used; I’ve never seen any others
