Discussion on overall reinforcement

In GB150.3-2011, there are no provisions regarding calculations and verifications for overall reinforcement; please discuss how such calculations and verifications should be carried out
If the overall reinforcement meets the constraints of the equal-area method, it can still be calculated using that method; if it meets the constraints applicable to reinforcement of large openings under the analytical method, stress verification can be carried out using the analytical approach described in 150.3. If none of these conditions are met, finite element analysis shall be conducted in accordance with JB4732
