Are there any requirements regarding green vegetation in the design specifications for liquefied gas loading and unloading areas? Can green, low-growing vegetation be planted in the liquefied gas loading and unloading area? At the same time, we welcome everyone to upload pictures related to the liquefied gas loading and unloading area for reference.
Could low shrubs cause a buildup of leaked liquefied gas, thereby creating safety hazards? But I’m just speculating; there are no relevant provisions to support it.
Living areas are fine, but production areas are generally not allowed, as liquefied gas is heavier than air; in the event of a leak, it will settle in low-lying areas or places with dense vegetation, posing potential hazards. I used to work at a liquefied gas station. Every time officials from the safety supervision agency came for inspections, they would remind us to clear the weeds promptly; they even wanted us to pave the roads there, but that wasn’t possible due to the underground pipelines.
