Is there a direction for installing reed switch magnetic switches?

Is there a direction for installing reed switch magnetic switches? Our factory uses HKEDA reed switch magnetic switches of the bistable type, with a power rating of 60W and a voltage of 220V. Honestly, in practical use, it was found to be an issue with the installation direction. Reed switch magnetic switches are used for level control.
As a supplementary note, the contacts we commonly use are normally open
I tried using a magnet, and no difference in direction was detected.
I was also thinking that using a magnet alone to attract things might lead to the conclusion that there is no direction, as I conducted experiments as well. But once a maglev level gauge is installed, if the direction isn’t paid attention to, control problems can occur from time to time!
