As the title suggests, coking wastewater contains sulfur; in what form does this sulfur exist? H2S or thiol? Which one is the main one?
The main forms of sulfur in coking wastewater are closely related to desulfurization processes using chemical methods: if oxidation is not employed for desulfurization, the main components in the wastewater are HS-, SCN-, and organic sulfur compounds； If oxidation is used for desulfurization, substances such as HS-, SCN-, S2O3, and SO42- are present in the wastewater, with the latter three being more abundant
Thank you very much. When you mention desulfurization in chemical processes, do you mean desulfurization of gas, or something else? Specifically in the phenol-containing wastewater generated from the oil-water separation of the primary cooling condensate, what are the existing forms of S?
