As the title suggests: For a project I am working on, it is necessary to build a facility. The main process involves unloading gas from CNG trucks, regulating its pressure, and then supplying it through pipelines to the facilities of a particular company for their own use (it is for internal use only, not for multiple users). The question now is, what standards should such a stance follow? How should such a stance be defined? (Which station category?) How should fire protection for station areas be considered? What standards should be followed to determine the safety distance? (What we are discussing at present is considering the compressed natural gas storage and distribution station in accordance with Section 7.3 of the GB 50028 Code for Design of Urban Gas Systems. However, this approach requires consideration of fire-fighting water. Firstly, we believe that treating it as a storage and distribution station is too stringent; since this facility is used for the company’s own needs, it should not be subject to the requirements applicable to urban gas systems. Secondly, the necessary conditions are not available, and the investment required would be too high.) The specifications for compressed natural gas supply mention only three types of facilities: CNG filling stations, storage and distribution stations, and cylinder supply stations. CNG supply stations are also referred to in the textbooks for power engineering exams as well as in Yan Mingqing’s Handbook of Gas Engineering; however, no appropriate specifications have been found yet. Has the original poster come across any such specifications?
