This post was last edited by steelen on 2010-10-11 at 17:31. It’s annoying when there is a single MODBUS bus that has to be accessed simultaneously by two or more MODBUS master devices. With the TG900, the problem becomes simple. Please take a look at the image below: http://www.tengcon.com/bbs/data/attachment/forum/month_1010/10101117107425003b438faefe.jpg The TG900 provides three serial ports; one of these ports, for example port 3, is used to read data from the MODBUS bus. The other two ports can be used to read the data obtained by port 3, either via the MODBUS protocol or through MODBUS TCP.
