As stated in the title: The temperature of the cylinder part of the solid pump used for transporting coal powder is too high, and heat exchange is required to reduce this temperature. Requirements are as follows: 1. It must not be welded to the surrounding structure; 2. Water must come into direct contact with the cylinder. What should I do? Seeking advice
Apply 25-mm pipes for circulating water or chilled water to the cylinder wall, then insulate it to also secure the pipes.

A more rustic approach is to wrap the pump body with copper pipes and use circulating water or chilled water for cooling; the downside is that there is a risk of the water valves being closed accidentally. It’s important to ensure proper insulation of the pump body after wrapping it with copper pipes, or else a jacketed heat exchanger can be installed on the pump. For long-term use, it might be better to opt for a pump equipped with a jacket
