In such a situation, the pressure in the atmospheric tower increases, while the temperature decreases! Under what circumstances does this happen?
Check whether there is a problem with the instruments. Also, regarding temperature: does the pressure in the press fluctuate, or does the pressure keep rising while the temperature keeps dropping? It could be due to water presence, an imbalance between the gas and liquid phases, or tower flooding!
