It’s impossible; the storage tanks come with diking and spraying systems. If you consider the fire separation requirements for industrial buildings, it’s clear that such a large building cannot be constructed, not to mention the need for proper ventilation:victory::victory:
What the original poster is referring to is probably some kind of intermediate buffer tank; it can’t be a large tank
Based on the analysis, it shouldn’t be a intermediate tank. I think the methanol tank is placed inside the building to protect it from sunlight, and there’s no need for sprinkler systems or anything similar; it’s also for the convenience of operations. Perhaps they use methanol because it’s easy to handle. In any case, flammable and explosive substances like methanol must not be kept in enclosed spaces! !
