The vibration in the outlet pipeline of the Roots blower in our factory was originally very low, but it increased after several repairs to the blower and modifications to the pipeline. Do any experts have any solutions?
The outlet pipe of the Roots blower vibrates heavily; it’s likely that the equipment itself also vibrates a lot
There are many reasons for pipeline vibration. If the Roots pump itself is functioning properly, it indicates that there may be issues with the pipe supports, or that the pipe layout is not proper – for example, there might be too many bends ； If the Roots blower also vibrates heavily, then the cause must be sought in the blower itself first.
Check whether the import and export expansion joints are operating properly Is the Roots blower vibrating excessively? Is the pipe support type correct?
If the pipeline has not been modified, it is likely caused by vibration of the Roots pump; 【the bolts of the expansion joint are not tightened, the base is not leveled, ----------】
A silencer has been added to the outlet pipe
For fans with two impellers, the vibration is a bit high
The fan definitely won’t be replaced; the pipe supports haven’t been touched at all, and the only change to the pipes is the addition of a silencer
