Cut gas pipes will have burrs at the cut edges; what is the best tool for grinding them? Good grinding is necessary to ensure adequate sealing. What is generally used for grinding? I’ve always thought that air supply hoses cut with a manual pipe cutter actually don’t need to be polished, but my supervisor told me to polish them. I suggested using a file, but he said that wouldn’t work as it would affect the sealing quality. So what should be used? Is it really that important? ? Experienced friends, please give some advice
Inner hole, hole grinding machine. For the outer circle, just use sandpaper to remove the burrs.

The pipes cut with a pipe cutter have smooth circular ends, requiring no polishing and can be installed directly. Unless there’s something wrong with your knife that causes burrs to form.

The pipe cutter eliminates burrs when cutting; the inner hole can be cleaned with the cutter’s scraper, while the outer wall does not need to be polished, as poor polishing can actually affect the sealing quality. When cutting, be careful not to go too deep with the blade, otherwise the cut edge will bulge, affecting the installation of the collar.

Is your leader from this same field? The seal for the gas supply pipe is not at the pipe opening; if the cutting tool is used too quickly, it may cause the pipe opening to expand. If the expansion ring doesn’t fit, just sand it a little
