Valve designation: XV-1001. Signals: Local/Remote. XV-1001RM – fully open; XV-1001ZO – fully closed; XV-1001ZC – fault; XV-1001F – valve opening; XV-1001O – valve closing. XV-1001C represents a type of pneumatic valve, which is different from electric valves. There are many different numbering systems such as XSHL/XSHH; it’s not clear whether there is any standard that establishes uniformity for these numbering methods. There are also cable numbers such as XVS-1001 in the cable inventory.
Different chemical plants use different numbering systems, and even different units within the same chemical plant can have their own distinct numbers
So far, no standards in this area have been seen, and I would like to know more about it. The representation of each process package varies somewhat.
