Does an imported electric control valve need to be pressurized before installation?

Our unit has had a batch of pneumatic, electric, and pneumo-hydraulic control valves purchased overseas by our superior department; they have not yet arrived. Will pressure testing before installation still be carried out in accordance with domestic standards once they arrive? Thank you!

If the medium passing through this valve is dangerous, conduct a pressure test to check for any external leaks. If the medium is ordinary and there are no major issues, it’s not necessary to use it; imported ones have fewer problems.

The \"SY/T 4102-2013 Standards for Inspection and Installation of Valves\" stipulates that in oil and gas field construction, general-purpose valves must undergo shell pressure and sealing tests one by one before installation. I wonder if electric valves are also general-purpose valves? What is a general-purpose valve?
If your organization has the means, why not do it?

We don’t use Fisher’s here; we use all the others, which are used in refineries

Imported valves need to be pressurized before installation. The standards for testing and pressure testing of American-standard valves are API598. It contains relevant test clauses and pressure testing acceptance standards.
