It is planned to use electric heat tracing for heating – is this in compliance with the regulations? It is technically permissible to use them, but it is necessary to choose ones of good quality and to ensure proper installation. In some cases, problems arise during installation, which leads to damage to the outer covering and results in the resistance wires coming into contact with the pipes or touching each other, causing a short circuit.
