The pump we are using consumes a large amount of water; as a result, the pressure that reaches the end of the workshop from a pump with a head of 50m is only 0.1MPa. It seems that the flow rate of this pump is significantly insufficient. As a temporary solution, we urgently connected a pump with a flow rate of 100 m3/h and a head of 32m, and this allowed the pressure to increase to 0.2–0.3MPa. Is this what theory predicts? ?
What was the rated flow rate of the pump originally?
Are your pipes thick? If they are, they can be connected in parallel; generally, pumps connected in parallel operate under the same conditions
Theoretically, the flow rates in parallel add up, while the head in series adds up.

I have operated pumps with different head capacities in parallel, using the pump outlet valves to control it so that the pressure in the downstream circuit does not overwhelm the pump with the lower head.
Why must it be done this way? Why not equip a pump with a capacity of 100 m3/h and a head of 32 meters with a set of inlet and outlet pipes as well? In parallel, they are all pumps with the same performance; it was said upstairs that they can operate, but this leads to energy waste and equipment wear and tear. It’s unreasonable.
There is only one pipeline, and there’s no other option. Since the flow rate is not sufficient to lower the temperature, this water pump has to be used as a temporary solution. Could we reduce the outlet valve of the high-head water pump so that the water pressure from both pumps is the same?

For a pump with a flow rate of 100 m3/h and a head of 32m, the pressure can be increased to 0.2–0.3MPa, ensuring that the head at the pump outlet remains within a similar range. It is important to install check valves at the pump outlet separately
Why not just replace this pump? The operating performance will be the same after the replacement
