This type of valve positioner often suffers from a fault in which it stops working automatically after being used for some time; a fixed number is displayed on the gauge, and it will not respond no matter what signal is sent from the control unit. Even after manual adjustment, the same problem occurs again after one or two days, despite the normal input current from the control unit! ! !
It is indeed a bit unstable; could it be that the valve body is stuck? There are no issues with the locator on our end; the problem lies entirely with the valve body

It’s not a common phenomenon, so that’s fine; just replace the faulty unit. I’ve never encountered such a problem with positioners, but I have seen it with pressure transmitters and flowmeters – the display freezes and doesn’t change, but it works again after power is restored. What’s the reason for this? They are all electronic products, and they may have some defects; however, if such issues are found in important instruments, they need to be replaced – one can’t settle for them.

Such a scenario is indeed beyond the capabilities of on-site maintenance personnel! But this kind of problem has occurred not once or twice; there must still be some issues with the quality
I hope more that it’s a setting issue!
