For unloading liquefied petroleum gas or propane, these substances tend to vaporize easily; I think rotor pumps would be a good choice, but why do some people opt for magnetic pumps?
1. For the methanol unloading pump, a magnetic pump will suffice; it can be made of metal or plastic. 2. For liquefied petroleum gas and propane, slide pump is used for unloading; a magnetically driven slide pump can be chosen if higher performance is required. Do not choose a rotary pump; the viscosity is too low, causing slippage.
In practical applications, stainless steel magnetic pumps are commonly used for methanol unloading. However, the rotor pump is known as a universal pump, and it can be used for this purpose as well; it is particularly suitable for sanitary-grade transportation.
