I have two projects going on, in the same industrial park. Currently, one has just completed the regulatory submission, while another is in the process of submitting it. But now here’s the problem: The \"China Seismic Ground Motion Parameter Zoning Map\" (GB18306-2015) came into effect on June 1, 2016, while the partially revised version of the \"Code for Seismic Design of Buildings\" came into effect on August 1. According to these two specifications, the seismic fortification intensity for industrial parks has been reduced from the previous 8-degree zone to a 9-degree fortification zone, which belongs to the third category. The construction drawings have not yet been prepared, but a considerable amount of preliminary work has already been done. In accordance with the \"Code for Plan Design of Industrial Enterprises\" (GB50187-2012), sites with an earthquake resistance intensity of 9 degrees or higher are not suitable for factory construction. Does that mean that as soon as the new regulations are introduced, the location selection for entire industrial parks will be completely wrong? ! How should this design proceed? In an instant, I didn’t know how to approach the design! ! What do everyone think of such issues?
