We have a differential pressure transmitter EJA110A with a range of 0~1.36 KPa. During inspection, it was found that when the transmitter was placed horizontally, its zero point remained unchanged; however, once the transmitter was tilted 20–30 degrees in any direction, the zero point changed. The change in the zero point was particularly significant when tilting around the pressure guide tube, exceeding the full scale range. I don’t know what the reason is. I would appreciate the advice from all of you experts.

Isn’t that normal? When placed horizontally, the silicone oil remains still and the zero point stays unchanged; if there is a slight tilt, the silicone oil shifts and the zero point changes. That’s normal, right? The inclination is too large, the range is too small; it’s okay even if it goes beyond the range
I don’t know if you’re using a silicone oil diaphragm box; if so, check whether there are any leaks in the capillaries. Additionally, the transmitter should be installed at the lower part of the high-pressure pressure tapping side, and not between the two pressure tapping flanges. If you are using direct pressure sampling, it’s possible that the sampling tube is blocked (it might be blocked on the low-pressure side, as the pressure could exceed the full scale); you can try opening the drain valve. It’s probably a problem with the wiring or the transmitter itself; try using a spare one.
It’s normal for the zero point to change when there is a certain angle of inclination; this is generally referred to as the effect of the installation position. Simply reset the zero point, and it won’t affect the measurement range
This is normal; when a differential pressure transmitter is placed at an angle, the diaphragm box experiences different pressures on each side, which leads to inaccuracies. And with such a small range, it’s normal for the reading to go out of range with just a slight tilt.
