I’ve been using the catalyst in my system for two and a half years. To control the temperature, I currently set CO at 13 and CO2 at 12 (for the recycle gas). I’d like to know what benefits this approach will bring to the operation of the system in the long term!
It reduces the reaction intensity and minimizes by-products, but production volume is affected
High levels of carbon dioxide later on aren’t good; the reaction quality is already poor, and it’s even more difficult to control things under such conditions
I think that as the catalyst activity gradually decreases, the CO2 content should be reduced in order to maintain the yield and thus keep the CO conversion rate stable.
