Communication issues between Dalian Sanyo Industrial lithium bromide refrigeration units and the host computer

I’m seeking help from everyone. We have three industrial lithium bromide refrigeration units made by Dalian Sanyo on site, which communicate with the central control room’s computer via serial ports. Now, the computer can no longer receive data from these units. The units are operating normally, and the communication status indicator on the multi-functional adapter (GSY2905B) located in the cabinet on site shows a red light. What aspects should be checked to diagnose the problem?
1. Check the wires. Use a multimeter to check if there is a short circuit or if the connection is not proper. 2. Check the drawings to see if the connections are in the wrong locations. 3. Inspect the modules for any defects.
