I would like to ask what the terms liquid NPSH, required NPSH, and pump NPSH all mean, and what kind of relationship exists between them
There is no such thing as a NPSH for the liquid itself; NPSHr is a parameter specific to the pump, while NPSHa (also known as available NPSH) refers to the system as a whole. The pump needs to be able to function properly within the device, and it must meet the NPSHr of 0.6 m
Available NPSHa (Net Positive Suction Head Available): It is a property of the system, equal to the total pressure head at the system’s inlet minus the saturated vapor pressure of the fluid at that temperature (all calculations are done in terms of absolute pressure); it represents the net positive suction head that the system can provide； NPSHr (Net Positive Suction Head Required): It is a property of the pump, related to its structural design; it represents the net positive suction head that is necessary for the impeller to function properly
