The forum has been taken over

I logged onto the forum today and found that it had been taken over by many people who sell exam materials; now it’s up to the moderators to deal with this.....
It has been handled; these are also considered white hair content. As soon as access is blocked in the backend, it’s possible to delete all the content they posted in one go
I’m reporting to the management: there are also a large number of advertising posts in the group function!
With apologies for my lack of IT knowledge: Is mass posting by registration bots a vulnerability in the website? Will it affect the members’ personal information?
