I’m new here, so please help me out. I have a question regarding gas turbines: what does the letter \"B\" in YL32000B stand for? I see there are also A/K, and so on. Is there a summary?

The letters that follow are the design sequence numbers for turbines of the same power (in alphabetical order).
I searched on Baidu, and it’s indeed the case. If it’s a sequential number for design purposes, then can it be understood this way: A represents the first unit, B represents the second unit, and so on? It’s simply a sequential number with no real meaning. Is this the correct way to understand it?
