Yanshan Petrochemical awarded title of Outstanding Enterprise in National Quality Management Team Activities, China Net, December 1, 2016, 15:28:55. Reported by Zhou Bing. Recently, it was learned from the 38th National Quality Management Team Representatives Conference that Yanshan Petrochemical has been honored with the title of “Outstanding Enterprise in National Quality Management Team Activities”. This is the first time the company has received this honor. The 38th National Quality Management Team Representatives Conference was organized under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and was jointly hosted by the China Quality Association, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the All-China Women’s Federation, and the China Association for Science and Technology. Nearly 1,500 representatives of quality management teams from various regions and industries across the country, as well as peers in the quality field from the **special zones, attended the conference. It is reported that the competition for outstanding enterprises this time covers entities from 34 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, including various industries such as petrochemicals, construction, and the shipbuilding industry. The companies honored as outstanding enterprises have gone through rigorous selection processes, representing the highest recognition for quality management efforts. Yanshan Petrochemical carries out quality management team activities, always focusing on identifying gaps and shortcomings in work, exploring advanced approaches and new methods to address issues related to product quality, safe production, and energy conservation, while also providing stronger guidance for QC activities at the grassroots team level. To date, 80% of the company’s production teams are involved in QC team activities, and the quality of the achievements of these QC teams is improving year by year. Twenty QC teams have received the national excellence award, while 33 QC teams have been honored as national outstanding quality management teams. This year, another 5 teams have been recognized by Beijing Municipality and Sinopec as eligible for national excellence awards, placing them at the forefront of their industry.
