Is a non-porous lens pad the same as a blind plate? How is this used on a high-pressure vision scope? Haven’t seen it before; the original poster, could you share some info? :lol

General use in high-voltage equipment. The pressure is definitely greater than or equal to 10 MPa and less than or equal to 32 MPa.
That’s right; I’ve never used it either, and I don’t know when it would be used. When designing high-voltage equipment, lens gaskets are available in two forms; most of the time, gaskets with holes are chosen. So I wanted to know in what situations those gaskets without holes are used.
If a blind flange is used, why open a hole anyway? Even with a blind flange, it is still necessary to open the hole for final exhaust and liquid discharge; therefore, it’s better to choose a gasket with holes. Could it be used for spare ports and viewports?
A pore-free gasket should be used for sealing the blind flange and the flange; compared to porous structures, it reduces the amount of machining required for the sealing plate and gasket. The blind plate structure should be used for spare ports or as a temporary seal during equipment pressure testing. The sight glass also needs glass, and it must be equipped with a lens pad.
