What do you think of the French Star pumps? Our company uses three of these pumps, and their mechanical seals break down frequently. One of them was sent back to the manufacturer for repair; it took three months, and in the process the motor was also damaged. Ugh… I hope everyone is careful when choosing pumps – it’s a lesson to be learned
You can try using a shielded pump without a mechanical seal
If proper attention is not paid to the cleanliness of the sealing surfaces during the installation of the mechanical seal, potential problems will arise, and it won’t last long.
