(a subsidiary of Haohua Junhua Group), with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons, began trial operations on June 15. This facility uses the acetic acid (ester) hydrogenation process; it is currently operating smoothly, and the finished product is being produced steadily and is already being sold in the market. At the end of 2016, the plant for producing ethanol through the direct hydrogenation of 200,000 tons of acetic acid also began trial operation. It is foreseeable that ethanol feedstocks will become more diversified in the future, and choosing the most economical, safe, and environmentally friendly production process will be key for companies to succeed in the market.
Do you know anything about their production load? Is it one set of 200,000-ton acetal hydrogenation process, or one set each for acetic acid and acetal hydrogenation processes with a capacity of 100,000 tons each?
It is a 200,000-ton acetic ester hydrogenation process, and the current production load is unknown. Another set of 200,000-ton acetic acid hydrogenation process is under construction.
