Haichuan is a professional forum whose main focus is the chemical industry; its participants are mostly industry professionals who are already working in this field. We are not able to attract as many chemical engineering students who are still in school, as they represent the future workforce in this industry. Encouraging these students to participate in Haichuan not only helps to increase the activity level of the forum, but it also provides an excellent opportunity for chemical engineering students to get a glimpse of society and work environment in advance. Everyone is welcome to share their views on how to determine the focus and create dedicated sections to attract chemical engineering students to participate in discussions, as well as on the use of various methods for maintaining quality

The top 20 universities ranked by the Ministry of Education are: Tianjin University, East China University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Dalian University of Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Zhejiang University, Beijing University of Technology, South China University of Technology, China University of Petroleum, Harbin Institute of Technology, Sichuan University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Nanjing University of Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology, Central South University, Hunan University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Taiyuan University of Technology, Fuzhou University, and Zhengzhou University. Among them, the Chemical Engineering and Technology programs at Tianjin University, East China University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Dalian University of Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Nanjing University of Technology are national first-class key disciplines.
It is recommended to create a dedicated section for chemical engineering programs, aimed at current students. This section should include popular specialties such as chemical engineering and technology, process control, and safety engineering, with an emphasis on combining theoretical knowledge with practical application; this approach should help attract some students to participate.

I’ve been through this stage myself; the first year of college is a period of adapting to a new life and dealing with uncertainty regarding one’s major. In my sophomore year, I accepted life and began taking the foundational courses of my major. Starting in their junior year, they begin taking specialized courses; they either prepare for postgraduate exams or get ready for work. Senior year: finding a job, working on a thesis, practical work*. I haven’t experienced life as a graduate student, so I don’t understand it... For undergraduate students, the focus should be on those in their sophomore and junior years, who are unclear about their major; sometimes they don’t even know what their field of study entails by the time they graduate, nor do they realize how important courses like \"Principles of Chemical Engineering\" are during their studies. Therefore, the forum can create sections dedicated to certain majors in universities. 1. The main content within the section can explain how to apply what has been learned; it can show that the knowledge used in production comes from books, which can attract some students’ attention. The theoretical section of the process area still lacks some basic elements. 2. It is also possible to show what the factories actually look like, including the production areas and R&D facilities, so as to prepare the students mentally; after all, many students nowadays are not interested in working in production environments. 3. For both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, there are two options: to pursue further studies or to look for a job. For those who choose to continue their studies, information about supervisors and other relevant details can be provided; as for those who seek employment, companies can be approached to post job listings. 4. I think it would be easier if I could get involved in the recruitment process at chemical companies. It would be great if, if one wants to cover a company or learn about a particular industry, they can find relatively extensive and practical information on this website. However, it’s too difficult.
