Is there an industry standard table available for the length of thermal resistance thermometers?
You mean penetration depth, right? I only know that when selecting a model, it is designed to be inserted one-third or two-thirds of the way into the pipeline; I’m not sure if there are any specific regulations regarding this. . .
The insertion depth design specifications specify that manufacturers of any length can produce it.

The insertion depth can be anywhere between 1/3 and 2/3 of the pipe’s length; ideally, it should be at 1/2 of that length. Additionally, for pipe diameters typically smaller than DN100, it is necessary for the piping specialists to expand the diameter to DN100. The height from the outer wall of the pipe to the flange face at normal temperature conditions is approximately 150 mm
Firstly, the insertion depth being between 1/3 and 2/3 of the pipe diameter is merely a recommended range per standards, and it is not a mandatory requirement. Secondly, the insertion depth of the thermometer also depends on your operating conditions and the installation location; in some areas where vibrations are severe, it may turn out, after calculations by the manufacturer, that the insertion depth is not sufficient to reach 1/3 to 2/3 of the pipe’s diameter. Finally, one should apply flexibly what is written in the guidelines to the actual situations encountered, rather than adhering strictly to them.
