The company’s 100,000-ton/year project for the comprehensive utilization of refinery waste gases is designed to treat a portion of the refinery waste gases generated by the 10 million tons/year refining facility at CNOOC Refining & Chemicals Co., Ltd. in Huizhou. Its comprehensive utilization capacity is 100,000 tons per year (equivalent to sulfur). It adopts Topsoe’s wet acid production technology from Denmark as well as domestic ammonia-based technologies for treating exhaust gases, enabling the direct production of sulfuric acid (with a concentration of 98%) in a single step. The exhaust gases produced are treated to ensure they meet environmental standards before being released. The project is planned to be built at the northeast corner of Plot E4 in the Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Zone in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. The total investment is approximately 500 million yuan, with a total land area of 29,976 m2. Contact: Mr. Yang Email: yangjing@bestgrandchem.com
