Where is the vent line on the roof of the oil sealing tank in the catalytic unit connected to? In our case, it leads to a high-point vent on site; however, safety regulations require it to be connected to the low-pressure pipeline network. I wonder where yours is connected to
Placing it at a higher elevation should work; a flame arrester is needed to prevent lightning strikes. Is there regulatory support for connecting to low-pressure pipelines?

That’s not possible, right? Wouldn’t that mean it’s connected to the distillation tower? With the high pressure in the distillation tower, could oil and gas flow back into the oil seal tank?
