1. During the heating-up phase of starting up the catalyst reactors this year, the furnaces went out 8 times – has that happened to anyone else as well?
Why are there so many times of shutting down the engine? What’s the reason? Is it a problem with the air regulation or an issue with the gas?
During the catalytic start-up, the temperature in the auxiliary combustion chamber exceeded the allowable limit; the reason was liquid present in the fuel gas, and the person on site who was responsible for monitoring the furnace was inexperienced, which led to this overheating
2. Is there a better way to ignite it?
Ours hardly ever goes out; and if it does, it can be lit again promptly. After changing the fuel source, leaving a pilot light on ensures that the gas won’t easily go out. It is mainly a matter of the responsibility and skills of the on-site supervisors.
