According to Sinopec News Network, on August 15, Sinopec Qingdao LNG Co., Ltd. successfully obtained the \"Port Operation License\" and the \"Supplementary Permit for Handling Hazardous Goods at Ports\" issued by the Port and Shipping Administration of Qingdao’s Transportation Commission. This marks the transition of Sinopec’s first LNG project, the Shandong LNG Project, from the trial operation phase at the port to full-scale production and operation. It also paves the way for temporary opening of the port in the future, laying the foundation for regular docking of international LNG vessels. Since 2014, Sinopec Qingdao LNG Co., Ltd. has been making every effort to organize the trial operation of the project, while simultaneously pushing forward with the completion and acceptance procedures for it. Within just two years, through enhanced organization and coordination and by overcoming various difficulties, and after completing the trial operation assessments for the facilities, as well as various specialized inspections for the port project, along with the initial and final inspections conducted by the municipal and provincial transportation authorities, the company successfully passed the comprehensive review carried out by the port and shipping administration authorities regarding its safety production conditions and eligibility for port operation licenses. As a result, it obtained the necessary license to operate the port, setting a record for the fastest time it has taken for an LNG project in China to secure such a license. Next, on the basis of obtaining official qualifications for port operation, Qingdao LNG Co., Ltd. will further advance the temporary opening of the port facilities, thereby creating a smoother operating environment for the import clearance of LNG-powered ships and their cargo, and adding new momentum to the company’s ‘second round of entrepreneurship’.
Which design institute did this?
I would like to ask: is this port Qingdao Dongjiakou Port? Does Sinopec Qingdao LNG Co., Ltd. be looking for candidates with expertise in storage and transportation? If you know anything about it, please give some introduction. Thank you
It’s this location. It is quite difficult to get hired by Sinopec, as the recruitment process is managed centrally by the group; you can visit http://job.sinopec.com/.
