Sea friends, I would like to ask where metering pumps are suitable for use? What pump should be chosen when the flow rate of the liquid to be transported is low and metering is not required?

If it’s a few hundred liters per hour, a return line can be installed at the outlet of the centrifugal pump; if it’s only dozens of liters per hour, then a metering pump would likely be more suitable. However, metering pumps have the issue of pulses
One of the flow rates is 0.7 m3/h, and the other is 3.7 m3/h
I think a centrifugal pump can be used for the return line with this flow rate
