For the production of 1,2-xylene in the 10-degree process via naphtha hydrogenation, what are the appropriate temperature controls for the bottom and top of the tower?
Do you have side-line production? In our unit with a side stream, the top of the tower is at around 130–134, while the bottom of the tower is at around 175–180. The temperature at which the side stream is taken off is 131–133, and the purity of the xylene obtained is around 94–95. The process pressure is 135–145! No problem!
