Question: Regarding the use of 400V motors in China

The rated voltage of the motor is 400V, which is likely the voltage standard in Southeast Asia. If it is to be used in China, I have the following questions: 1: Are motors with a 400V rating more expensive than those with a 380V rating? 2. Can a 400V motor be driven with a 380V power supply? As I understand it, it can be used correctly, because the output voltage generated by the transformer (0.4 KV) falls within a range of ±5%, that is, between 380 and 420 V. I’m not sure if you’ve taken a look at your capacitor cabinets; many of the capacitors have a rated voltage of 400 V
