In chemical plants, the aspect of operation that is most often automated is the PID function in DCS systems. DCS systems with self-tuning capabilities are great; those without such features require manual tuning, which is not only troublesome but also makes it difficult to adjust parameters for temperature control. It would be nice if chemical plant operations could also be as intelligent as those on mobile phones. Is it because I spend too much time on my phone? Of course, chemical processing must ensure that the system remains in a closed state. I hope everyone can discuss it. Also, how is Internet+ applied in chemical processes? Apart from the computational work done by design firms, I am referring to unit operations.
Are you thinking of writing a program to start the device automatically once the command is given, so that it begins operating at the set rate of voltage and temperature increase? Are all valves used for operation being programmable valves or pneumatic valves?

Does the DCS operating system used in everyone’s systems have a PID auto-tuning function? Is this module quite expensive?; The intelligent nature of this device is really great; I think it won’t lead to mass layoffs, but rather it may give rise to new industries, thereby boosting production. Are there more advanced control systems now? It seems that the DCS systems are more or less the same for everyone
Advanced control systems are different from traditional DCSs; it’s worth learning about them. However, the intelligence you're referring to requires more powerful computing hardware.
