Can instruments with FM explosion-proof certification be used in China? ? ? ?
Strictly speaking, it’s not possible; it is necessary to meet China’s explosion-proof standards and undergo re-certification. However, foreign certifications are recognized by many certification bodies in China, and generally, one only needs to convert the foreign certificate into the corresponding domestic certificate.
Is there no authoritative statement? ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
GB50093 requirements in bold: Explosion-proof equipment must have nameplates and explosion-proof markings, and the number of the explosion-proof certification issued by an authorized institution shall be indicated on the nameplate. In other words, it must be certified by an **authorized institution!
The FM certification is valid in China, and no further certification is required there. According to the **Explosion Protection Technology Testing Center, the certifications from most countries and regions in the world are mutually recognized with China’s explosion protection certification!** Such as: Europe, the Americas, Japan, etc.

In accordance with Article 5.1 of the \"Implementation Rules for the Production License of Explosion-Proof Electrical Products (XK06-014)\\", these are the **standards** that enterprises must follow when producing explosion-proof electrical products.
It should be possible. There is no strict distinction.

Mutual recognition of explosion-proof certifications does not mean that products from other countries can be used directly; rather, conversion procedures are required. The products from abroad must be adjusted to meet domestic standards at a testing center, after which a certification number will be issued. Only with this number can those products be used in projects within the country!
