When starting up the boiler in a thermal power plant by using fuel for heating, the bag filter cannot be put into use, and black smoke is emitted from the chimney. What should be done if the environmental protection agency comes for an inspection?
It is specified in the environmental impact assessment document how ignition is to be carried out; what fuel will be used for ignition. If those requirements are not met, operations must be halted and another fuel must be used for ignition
If the environmental impact assessment states that diesel is used for ignition, does that mean it’s okay even if the chimney emits black smoke? Which law serves as the basis?
Starting a cold furnace can result in black smoke, but there are time limits on this!! Check the regulations regarding black smoke detection!!
If the emission is not carried out for a long time, it should be possible to do so for a short period; the environmental impact assessment document has been approved by the environmental protection authorities

To avoid unnecessary trouble, it’s better to use a cleaner type of fuel for ignition. Besides, diesel isn’t cheap either
