I am a senior student majoring in Process Equipment and Control Engineering. Recently, a cosmetics company came to our school to recruit staff for production and equipment-related roles. I passed the first and second interviews, and was informed that for the third interview I would have a video conversation with my future supervisor. Since you have just graduated, it’s a good idea to master some basic knowledge of chemical engineering principles! For example: What are the devices of common reaction units? What is the basic working principle? What are the types of fluid transfer pumps? What is its working principle? What are common fault diagnosis and analysis methods? What are the principles of distillation and rectification? What is the principle of extraction? What are the basic control parameters? It is also advisable to prepare some basic knowledge on safety and environmental protection, as well as common methods for controlling production costs.
