For sulfuric acid production at the same yield, some converters have five stages while others have four. How is this defined? Individual strengths and weaknesses?
Converter design is based on materials, conversion rate, thermal balance, cost-effectiveness, and so on
A five-stage system can achieve a higher overall conversion rate than a four-stage system, but it requires greater capital investment.
