The medium-pressure steam generated by our company’s process units has a pressure of around 1.8 MPa; it is directly reduced to low-pressure steam at 0.33 MPa, resulting in significant energy losses. We are considering installing a steam screw expansion generator set. So far, we have consulted Jiangxi Huadian and Jiangshan Kaishan in China. Do any of you know of other domestic generator set suppliers that offer cost-effective solutions?
Zhejiang Kaishan and Hangzhou Turbine have both achieved good results.

The amount of steam used by our company differs greatly between summer and winter; the average consumption is sufficient, but the actual time during which power can be generated is very limited. Additionally, the payback period is indeed long, and maintenance is required every year. After careful consideration, we decided not to proceed with it after all
