For the final project, a 3-cubic-meter mixing tank is required to have a flat cover; is the connection between the mixing device and the flat cover still achieved through flange fittings?

As the title suggests, there are many things I don’t understand; I hope everyone can help answer them. Online, elliptical end caps are used, so flange connections are employed – I’ve never seen flat covers used before. I’m not sure what the instructor thinks about this. At 1.6 Mpa pressure, the flat cover is already 130 mm thick……
For flat covers, use ordinary flanges； Ask your teacher why a flat lid is used Clarify this issue first
Pressure vessels generally do not use flat lids; those that do use flat lids are usually not pressure vessels, in which case the flanges can be of a lower grade.
Thank you. May I ask whether it uses a pipe flange or a vessel flange? It doesn’t seem to be connected to either pipes or vessels. . .

The flat cover can use radiating rib plates; GB150 provides calculation methods that enable a significant reduction in the calculated thickness of the flange. Additionally, either a flange or a lip will work. Depending on the structural requirements, or whether it is cost-effective?
